My Favorite Messages: 

1) Pleasurable Experience: Publix's slogan is "Where shopping is a pleasure"

- I really like that Publix is a very positive environment, for both shoppers and employees; happiness is something that everyone wants and by advertising happiness, people are drawn to the product. 

2) Community Sponsorship: Publix sponsors Tampa Bay Lightning, donates money to small companies and individuals in need

- They don't advertise their sponsorships very publically but do a lot for the community; other companies advertise their contributions to gain support from the community. They push the idea that if they support the community, the community should support them in return. 

3) Ready-Made Food: sushi, chicken, deli, bakery, soup

- I go get ready-made from Publix at least once a week and its yummy, fast, and really convenient. Ready-made food companies advertise fast and fresh food, for a low price without the consumer doing any actual work. This, of course, appeals to lazy and busy people who want a decent meal with minimal effort.
