This week in Nuvu I worked on scaling the model up and down and finally decided to use the 1:4 ratio. Dividing all of the realistic measurements by 4, I scaled the model down. I also worked on the blades and resizing them, the file is found above and I will print them next week. The ratchet needs to be 3D printed because the wood is wearing down from where it spins. Next week, I will work on recutting/printing everything and starting to build it. I also need to figure out how the top blades spin around a PVC pipe while others stay on the dowel. Very productive week. 

Sunrise, Sunsit incorporates the pleasure of watching a sunset or sunrise, sitting down while also providing an intricate aspect of shade. The simple mechanism only requires a rotation of the bottom (large) gears, connected to the top (small) gears by a rope chain, revolving the dowel that withholds the panels.
