Populating the chronological studio schedule with the specific activities from each studio topic will communicate to and orient teachers better than a universal framework, as we saw with the printed studio schedule iterations, teachers need more information of what they are actually doing instead of the framework which informed that curriculum's design.
Studio specific activities in this schedule also align with the minute duration planning, which can be custom to each studio in a way the universal stages cannot.
Universal Design Stages / Studio Specific Activities
Day Duration / Minute Duration / No Duration
Bubble Design / Line Design / Progress Bar Design
Studios need to be build to accommodate a variety of class time durations without modification. The most direct solution to this is to provide activity durations in minutes for teachers to combine or divide as needed.
A progress bar design would have the legibility of the bubble design while retaining the rectilinear design language of the site.
