All Saints Through Cinemagraphs

All Saints Through Cinemagraphs

Aaron Laniosz

Cinemagraphs are a unique combination of photo and video that allow us to perceive images in new ways.  To make a cinemagraph, a video clip is layered over part of a still photograph so that the photograph looks like it is subtly moving, creating an illusion of motion.  In this studio, we will be exploring the environment of All Saints Academy through cinemagraph.  Students will work to find their own conceptual understanding of their surroundings at All Saints and produce a cinemagraph that reveals something beautiful, unexpected, or overlooked.
