What is the future of food service and spaces?

- Delivery is on the rise and will probably be dominant by 2020.  Drones and “Uber” delivery will be the main the

- Creating your own food is also becoming popular; especially for people with food restrictions such as vegetarians, vegans, and other food allergens.

- Food vending machines is now popping up frequently.  For example there are pizza vending machines at a few gas stations.

- Digital ordering and shopping is also going to be a popular form of getting food to you instead of bringing your self to the food. 

Why is food/cafe/service moving forward in your opinion?

    Food services are continuously changing with the demands of consumers.  Today, consumers want their food more customizable and convenient.  Juan Martinez says “Everything is about quality and transparency now — transparency in terms of the ingredients but also in seeing the food made for you,” which basically means that restaurants are taking on techniques that will maximize the consumer happiness and increase revenue for that business.

Look up 5 restaurants that reflect the future of food service.

- Dine in the Dark - I personally don’t like this idea because I wouldn’t like to stab my face with a fork.

- Postmodern Payment- I love this idea because you can go in and eat good food for a “price” in a comfortable living setting.

- Sky High- I love this idea because of how unique it is.

- Dinner with a Side of a Disaster- This way of dining would be so much fun because I like to have interesting dining experiences.

- El Diablo- To be honest, this is on my bucket list to have my food cooked over a live volcano and I like to have my customized like shown in the picture.
