Building Bonds is an interactive bonding activity designed for a playground. For our current model, the age range is around 3-12 years old, depending on height. Obviously for it to be used by a grandparent and grandchild, mother and child etc., it would need to be much taller, but we did a 1/2 scale. The goal is to strengthen their relationships and possibly become closer. And while everyone plays differently and may not choose to follow the rules, the sole purpose of this project is to bond, which calls for at least 2 people. I think that this has the potential to morph into a project that is open from all directions, like the last picture, while maintaining the same concept.
