Today we tried to put our project together, however we failed, because we designed it in a wrong way. Then, we tried to revise it.

Today I was mainly working on the repellent straps for our bookbag. I made a white cardboard prototype, but Anjali and I decided to make sketch on rhino. This is what I did the last part of the class. Unfortunately, my print did not goes as planned, but we will try again next class. There was a lot of progress made today
Today, we fixed some minor things about our project. We also 3D printed, with the help of Mrs. Giansaracusa.
Thanks Mrs. G!!!!
Today, we printed our project!!!!!
Today, in class Spencer and I went over some details concerning the inside of our backpack. We glued down layers of cardboard and inserted small holes on the top of them. This is filter out the water. We have yet to add natural filters but this is our progress for now.
Today, Spencer and I focused on the straps of the book bag. We decided that along the inner wall of the straps, there would be a tube and connected to that tube would be a bottle of bug spray. There is yet to see what kind of natural resources that we will use, but that will be soon researched. The game plan for next class is going to be:
- researching nonharmful bug sprays and repellents
- Fine tuning the inside of the backpack
Today, we out on the straps and placed that trays inside. Next class we will have to glue the rest of the pieces together and print the trays
Today, we worked on our drawers and our shelves. Next class we hope to finish our project and its last touches. For homework, we need to write two paragraphs on our project.
Today, we redid our shelves and copied them in the 3d printer. We also worked on our drawers but forgot to add a certain detail. Next class, we can work on the drawers again and hopefully print.
